End of June

Things have been busy in the last few weeks so blogging has gotten away from me :) At the end of June I decided to tackle the front yard. From earlier this year I had cleared out the old mulch and this time I was going to put new stuff down, with the trick of putting down newspaper to keep weeds from growing. Here are pictures from my work:

It was a lot of work but looks a lot better than it use to. We spent the last Saturday in June with friends at their lake house. I don't have pictures from that because I was took busy relaxing! We had a lot of fun chatting, playing with their kids, swimming, and boating. But the boating got cut short because the engine sprung a leak and we were paddling back till another boat gave us a tow.
