Vacation, Part 2 Cabin in the woods

We had a beautiful drive through the mountains and our little car did pretty well :)

The traffic in town once we reached Pigeon Forge was ridiculous. But we finally made it through and got checked in and given a map to find our Cabin. It was so cute and themed with Black Bears :) (which Sam was really excited about).  We got out stuff in and than gave Sam and Emily their Birthday present.

Happy Birthday to Sam and Emily. We spent last 4th of July with them and took pictures of Pittsburgh and put them in a frame that spelled their name. They loved it.

Grill and sitting area on back porch
We went out for dinner and began planning what activities we wanted to do. Being in the South is fun, seeing all the pretty flowers. After dinner we went to check out the Christmas store and get some Ice Cream.

We had a great time hanging out and feeling very excited about all the things we are hoping to do.

Vacation, Part 1 Creation Museum

To start our vacation off we traveled the first night to a camp ground and enjoyed a nice night of camping and sleeping on our new air mattress. We took my sister's advise and got a double sized one which means no waking up on the ground if the mattress looses a little air :) The camp ground was really nice and we will hopefully be going back the next time we want to see a Red's game. Our first stop to Tennessee was at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. We really enjoyed their exhibits, felt like they are a little pushy on a few topics, but overall were really glad we went.

Entry Way

Dan with Old Testament Prophets

Garden of Eden

Fall of Creation

Building the Ark

All done :)
They also had a petting zoo and gardens on the property, we had a great time walking around and checking everything out.

 Half Donkey, Half Zebra

 Half Horse, Half Zebra

We found a random place for lunch (which was really good) and than continued to our Cabin!!!

Arab Festival

For the first time Fort Wayne had an Arab Festival and Dan and I went to check it out on both days it was open. They had cultural dancing, yummy food, camel rides, henna painting, and different information and booths about Arab culture. It was a really great experience and they had really good turn out. It was nice getting to experience the culture and really enjoyed the experience.
