Girls Weekend

At the beginning of December I always get together with my friends from college for a Girls Weekend in Chicago. We had a great time this year and the weather was ridiculous. We usually are layered up and numb from the cold by lunch time but it hard to be cold when it is almost 60 degrees outside. There were a lot of people in town and we always enjoy the window displays and shopping.

I love seeing how Macy's always decorates. They had Window decorations of both Peanuts and the Universe. Because it was such a warm day we got to see fog creeping into the city after lunch.

We enjoyed walking down the streets and found the perfect spot for a group picture.

Loved the Christmas Tree!
We finished off our evening by getting Cupcakes from Sprinkles and enjoying more time with the baby :) she is so sweet and such a cutie!

Our weekend, as always, was filled with laughter, good conversations, and simply enjoying over a decade of friendship with women who have been such a huge part of my life. I feel truly blessed to have these women as friends.

Decorating for Christmas

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we always pick out our Tree. Jessica enjoyed the experience and we finished up the trip by getting hot chocolate.

Our next step was to get all our Christmas Decorations out and set up. Jessica really enjoyed helping and we all are enjoying all the Christmas lights :)

We made sure Jessica watched Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. Later when Sam and Emily came over we all watched Elf. Jessica had never seen any of the movies and it was fun hearing what she thought.

Thanksgiving

I got a few pictures from Thanksgiving this year. Jessica started the week off not feeling well but was better by Thursday. We also had our nieces and nephew over to see our rabbits. We really enjoyed our time with family and had a lot of good food :)

I knew she had been eyeing the top of the cage but on Thanksgiving she decided to go for it. Luna can jump at least this high...and jumps down on her own.

Christmas Tree Lighting

The Friday before Thanksgiving we go to the Christmas Tree Lighting on Broadway. They always have live Reindeer, Santa and Mrs. Clause, Train rides for the kids, and Hot Chocolate. It was fun taking Jessica and the Tree looked amazing! Plus we got to have Fireworks to finish off the night. Here are some pictures from the evening.

Anniversary Weekend

For our Anniversary we went to Frankenmuth for the weekend. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing the displays they have at Bronner's. We even picked out some new Christmas decorations.

We had fun walking around town and took some pictures :)

We love the Cheese Haus :)

Thought this sign was cute

We spent Saturday night at Stephen and Michelle's house. We had fun eating out and playing cards. I don't think we have laughed so much in one night in a long time.
