Wedding Weekend Part 2, Rehearsal

On Friday afternoon we took Sam the the hotel and reception place to make sure things got dropped off and were set up for Saturday. We then had a little bit of time to get ready for the rehearsal at the church.

We had fun at the church. It went fast and very smoothly, the girls even did really well. Everyone had fun watching Becca running around being silly. We then had dinner which was really good! We ate at Biaggis which is a really nice Italian Restaurant here in town.

I think we were all very satisfied with the meal and finished off the night by watching Father of the Bride with Sam and Emily before calling it a night.

Wedding Weekend Part 1

For Sam and Emily's weekend everyone came into town a few days early. On Thursday night we had a cook out at Konnie and Kevin's.

On Friday morning we went to the mall. Sam and Emily did Build A Bear with the girls as their gift to them. The girls were the flower girls in the wedding. We had fun watching them pick everything out and then grabbed some lunch.

So I caught a great picture of a sunset on July 8th...

I also decided to get my hair cut and a little bit of color :)

 We had some time so we stopped by the Pogo Tournament that was going on. It was fun to watch...we kind of got into it.

It is kind of a "thing" I had no idea

We then crossed the river to watch the end of the Regatta and wait for the fireworks. I got some pictures of the area with the fountain (where we were earlier), there were thousands of people.

We finished the evening with fireworks, some of the best fireworks I have ever seen. We loved it!

 After the fireworks we walked past a huge sand sculpture that a family had done, it was life size and really amazing to see.

On our final day we went to church and had dinner at a Gourmet Burger place called BRGR. It was one of the best places I have ever had a burger and their shakes were amazing! They had a cupcake flavor of the day so Dan and I split it...I don't think I can oversell how good it was :)
