Anniversary Party Part 1

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my parent's Anniversary. It was a great time to see family and dear family friends. We took time to also get some family pictures too.

The lovely couple :)
All the planning and setting up went well. There was a close call when Stephen almost get left at the church before lunch :) and once the party started we had a chance to see people come to celebrate my parents.

Rainbows

The second weekend in April we went up to see my parent's to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. On the drive up we were surprised to see a beautiful rainbow. Not only did the colors looks amazing, it also had a clear reflection of colors and at one point was a full arch. I tried to get some good pictures:

I love being able to see things in nature that are awe inspiring. It is always a reminder to me of how big our God is.

Easter

For Easter this year we stayed home and Sam and Emily traveled to see us. We had a great weekend enjoying good Mexican food, trips to the ER (everything was fine), and coloring eggs. The weather was beautiful and we even spent some time at Menards :) On Sunday we had a nice Easter Service followed by good food and watching Colonial House.  Here are some pictures of us coloring eggs on Saturday.

 Everyone getting involved
It was a really nice weekend. It was sad having to say farewell to Sam and Emily but it got us excited for our trip together this summer.
