4th of July

Dan and I started our celebration this year on the 3rd of July. We had dinner in Huntington before catching the new movie Despicable Me 2 (which is really good). After the movie we went down to Fairmount to watch fireworks. I have a new camera this year so I had fun using the Fireworks setting :)

On the 4th we decided to go see a Red's game and headed to Cincinnati...but it started to rain. We got to our seats, which were really good and covered, only to learn they had delayed the game. While we waited we went and got some Grater's Ice Cream (which is amazing!) and then to Ikea to waste time. While we were at Ikea we learned that the game was postponed which means we can use a rain  check on our tickets and use them during another regular season game.

On our way home we had dinner in Indy with one of my friends from college, which was fun and a great time to catch up and chat. It was a long day and not quite what we had expected but we still had fun.
