We were driving and I was able to get good pictures of the sun set and some really fun clouds.

Bed and Breakfast Part 2
We had a lovely time and loved the family that ran the B & B. We had fun trying different restaurants that we always pass and never try. We found a Mexican place that was amazing! We also enjoyed hanging out at the house and reading (which we don't always get to do) and binge watching HGTV :)
Here are pictures from the downstairs of the house:
Here are some of the fun details: Light fixtures, stained glass, tile fire place, and decorative wood floors.

Bed and Breakfast Part 1
The weekend after our Anniversary we went up to Ligonier and spent the weekend at a Bed and Breakfast. Neither of us had ever been to a B & B before and were excited. The house we stayed at was amazing and restored. Here are picture of the house:
We also had our own bathroom and there was a laundry shoot and dumb waiter as well. It felt like every time we turned around we were discovering something else.

Anniversary #3
For our Anniversary this year we spend the actual day working and celebrating that evening. For dinner we went to Joseph Decuis. We had been there for dinner after our Medal Ball this fall. It was a nice night and we got all dressed up for our fancy Anniversary meal :)

Finishing the quilt!
For Christmas last year I started a quilt for Dan. I didn't finish it as I wanted him to have a choice in what T-shirts were added. I knew his Purdue shirts are meaningful and didn't want to cut one up that he still wanted to wear. I finally was able to finish this project! It is amazing how things don't get done due to taking professional exams, making other quilts as gifts, and having a very busy summer :) (not to make excuses ;) ) I am glad it is finished and love how it turned out!

All done!!!
Now we get to enjoy it :)

Fall Fun
A couple weekends ago we met up with my parents in Shipshewana. My parents were giving us the tulip bulbs we purchased in May which had just come in. We had a beautiful day and enjoyed walking around the town and grabbing some food for lunch.

Dan's Star for Henry
Dan also made a star for Henry. Henry was born recently so Dan quickly got the finishing touches done so we could get it sent down.
Painting the star
Dan setting up the "clock" part to see how he wanted to glue everything down.
All the pieces glued on and Dan working on the chain portion
All done!!
I love how it turned out and very creative.
