We have been doing some work on our yard and the flowers I planted last year were in full bloom.

Possum!
One of the Saturday's in May we got a lot of yard work done and enjoyed a fire while burning some of our brush pile. It was a very full day of work, going to a Political Rally, playing yard games, camp fires, and than met friends for dinner.

At the Political Rally we heard Marlin Stutzman announce he is going to run for the open Senate seat for Indiana.

On our last day we went to church in the morning and than spent the afternoon spending time together before we left.

We than decided to do Sugar cookies together. We brought a pack that included different colors of dough. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed eating them too.

Sadly we had to leave. We had one more stop for dinner at Whataburger :) and then we caught our flight home.

We had such a great time and can't wait to go back for another visit.

Texas, Part 3

On Saturday we headed South to visit a Renaissance Fair. Dan had never been to one and I was excited to see what he thought.

Becca and Samantha both got flower head bands.

Fun find, reminded me of Harry Potter

Never know what you will see

 Turtle Races :)

Kenneth doing a swing with the girls
We stopped and watched one of the artisans doing glass blowing. It was really interesting and fun.

We than found where they were doing Camel and Elephant rides.

Kenneth took the girls for ride, first time on an Elephant for all of them.

We had a lot of fun, sad we missed some of the performing groups. They have quite the schedule of events and activities. It was impressive how long the kids were able to last. It was a long day and they did great.

Henry on the drive home
Samantha had gotten her face painted at the Fair but Becca was sleeping. When we got home Kenneth painted Becca's face.
