Anniversary Weekend, After Party

After getting everything taken care of at the church we ran back to my parent's to change and then drove out to Grand Haven for the evening. We had a lot of fun chatting in our car with Mykel and Jacob who rode with us for the weekend. It is fun getting to hang out with my niece and nephew after not seeing them for such a long time. We stopped first at one of our favorite pizza places and then headed to the beach.

 When we got out to the beach we got to watch a huge dump truck hauling sand to the shore and when we walked out onto the Pier we discovered quite a bit of snow :) It was cool to see how some of it had melted off and Jacob even tried to help speed up the melting process.

 This was my favorite part! It was neat to see it melted from the bottom and how it was shaped by the wind.
