Johnny Appleseed

A couple weekends ago my parents came to town and Dan and I got to take them to the Johnny Appleseed Festival. Dan took me last year and I loved every minute of it, kicking myself for forgetting my camera. So this time I was able to take some pictures! They have everything set up in a park and the vendors have tons of different crafts and food. They even have people who dress up and do re-enactments, so groups will march around playing music, shoot off guns and cannons, and just wander around. The best part is that all food has to be prepared in the same way it would have been when Johnny Appleseed was alive. Here are some pictures of what we saw and ate :)

It was a very busy and fun day. My parents really enjoyed the food, sites, and vendors. It felt like fall, smelled like fall, and tasted like fall :) which is why I enjoy going last year and was so excited about this year.
