Mackinaw Part 2

On Sunday we went to church in the morning and then my parents took us down my the water to get some pictures of the bridge. We then went back to the trailer to change so we could squeeze in time at the Fort that was abandoned in Mackinaw City when they built the Fort on the Island. They have been and are still digging things up. It was an amazing display!

Once we finished up at the Fort we went and had lunch with the family and had a chance to sit and talk for a little while before we had to leave. On our way home we stopped and got to see my sister and her family for a couple hours and ate dinner with them before heading home. We were both sad to leave and that it had to be such a short trip, but the college I am teaching at switched to starting classes on Labor Day this year so we had to be back home by Sunday night. We were just glad we still got to go.
