Conner Prairie Part 2

One of the last weekends in August we took a trip back to Indy to see the rest of Conner prairie and take Jessica to a Red's game in Cincinnati. Jen and Dave had not been to Conner Prairie yet so we had fun taking them with us. We started in the "Civil War" era and learned about attacks that happened in Southern Indiana during that time. It was very interactive and fun.

Dan trying on the uniform :)
We ran into a cart on the road to Prairie town, we had seen some of the town already but loved getting to interact with more of the "towns people".

Making sauce
Checking out the Corn
 Playing with Stilts

Making Candles
Petting the sheep or wanting the fan? :)
Learning about turning wool into thread
After the town we saw the Conner homestead that has been preserved and than headed to the Indiana Camping area that would have been first in the area.
