Springfield, Part 2

After lunch we went to the Lincoln Presidential Museum. It was very well done and loved how it was laid out. You feel like you are walking through different parts of his life.

 Inside the Museum

Starting with Lincoln as a boy

Representing when Lincoln first saw slavery
Next heading into the White House
 The Civil War

Statue of Lincoln outside the Museum

After the Museum we went to view his grave. They have a huge Monument set up and again it was free to tour. It is very simple but very nice.

At the Graveyard

After grabbing some dinner in town we headed back to our campsite and took a dip in the pool before playing a round of Mini Golf. We also got to weather a really nasty thunderstorm that night. Our little tent held up well.
