A couple weekends ago we went up to Chicago to visit one of my friends from College. We decided to spend the day at MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry). We also enjoyed playing with the cats :)

At MOSI they have a really cool exhibit featuring the only German U-boat every captured during WWII. It surrendered off the coast of Africa because it was sinking. We (America) towed it across the Atlantic where we recovered an Enigma Machine (featured in the recent Movie "Imitation Game", which was good). The Museum had the Sub brought to Chicago and eventually built this exhibit for the Sub. The tickets to tour the inside were sold out but there was a lot of information around to read and still amazing to walk next to it.

The actual Enigma machine recovered from the Sub.
A few of the other exhibits included these Conestoga wagons, which were huge! You sometimes don't realize the actual size of things until you stand next to them.
They also had bikes from different years set up, which was interesting to see.
Jenner and I met in our College Biology class so we had to check out the section on Genetics and watched a baby chick hatch out of his shell.
