For my birthday this year Dan and I went up to Chicago to celebrate. Before leaving I did get a great celebration at work at my morning staff meeting. They had cake, Oreo's, chips and dip, donuts, Oreo truffles, dirt cake, and apple cider. It was amazing and I ate so much food! Here are some pictures from Friday...
First stop was getting to our hotel in Naperville and finding the closest Giordaon's Pizza :) I haven't had it in years and made sure I had my food enzymes with me so I could eat the cheese. Our meal ended up being free as they sent ours home with someone else and we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. The manager had us order something to tied us over so we tried their house salad and Parmesan fries (both which were amazing) and then we got to enjoy our pizza :)

While we waited (for our first pizza) we walked around Naperville and found a candy shop so we stopped in. Their gummy candy was amazing, a burst of flavor in every bite! And we had to get the cutest candy, Baby Gummy Bears...the picture shows how small they are :)

Our Hotel was also really nice, we stated at a Red Roof Inn. They have been making them much more high scale and we could tell. Our room was clean and looked really nice. We had a great night and fell asleep watching the Detroit game :) What a great way to spend my birthday!
